Admission Requirements | Educational Requirements: Applicants must fulfil at least one of the following educational requirements: - Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) + one year of professional experience in sustainability - Bachelor of Engineering Language Proficiency Requirements: Non-native English speakers must submit one of the following language certificates. - TOEFL® PBT Test: 550 - TOEIC: minimum 750 points Note: the results are valid for two years from the test date. Visa | Applicants who are neither Mexican nationals nor permanent residents of Mexico must apply for “Status of Residence” (visa) as an international student at the Universidad Panamericana, Campus Aguascalientes. Please visit the Mexican Embassy´s webpage in your home country. |

Admission requirements at UNIVERSIDAD PANAMERICANA (UP Mexico)
The Admission Committee considers past academic performance, work and life experience, intellectual ability and other non-quantifiable qualities, such as motivation, self-confidence, leadership, and the ability to cooperate with others while evaluating your application.
Any kind of professional or extracurricular leadership experience, especially if international in nature, is highly regarded.
As a guide, to be eligible to apply for IMAT Mexico you should fulfil at least on the following educational requirements:
- Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) + one year of professional experience in sustainability
- Bachelor of Engineering
You should also show good English language skills (TOEFL® PBT Test: 550 / TOEIC: minimum 750 points)

Professor Berger received her master’s degree in Geology from the University of Würzburg, Germany and her PhD in Sciences from the Institute of Geophysics of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). She is currently Faculty and Director of the study course Energy Technologies at the Department of Engineering at Universidad Panamericana on Bonaterra Campus in Aguascalientes. Her research interests are renewable energies and include biomass, geothermal and sustainable projects.
